Parties

Here are some ideas to try for your next party:

Music
Live music provides the perfect ambience. A solo fiddler may be just the right amount of sound for the front porch, or patio. Together with a banjo or guitar you can fill the backyard, or put them all together with a string bass and you have a band for your next birthday, family reunion, wedding reception, anniversary, or neighborhood block party. The sounds are happy, lively, and full of energy, and it’s also fun to watch the musicians play. For some added excitement a clog dancer can perform.

Dancing
If your guests like to dance and a suitable floor space is available, why not have a square dance, or Cajun dancing? Both styles are easy to get started, and basic instruction can be included with the performance.
If you like any of the above suggestions, you can read further descriptions of the performers available for booking – click here.

Providing sound amplification

We strive to play at volume levels that suit our audience’s listening pleasure. With acoustic instruments it is possible to perform with or without amplification. Providing amplification allows the music to fill a larger space, but it also requires more time to bring equipment and set up. This is why an additional fee is charged if sound amplification is used.
